Black Friday Haul +Giveaway Update~

Hello everyone! I hope all of you had a wonderful thanksgiving holiday. I went black friday shopping at an outlet during the break. This was my first time doing black friday shopping, so I was quite excited!^0^
I didn't go too crazy, I thought, haha^0^

First, a quick update on the giveaway! My blogbirthday giveaway is ending tomorrow at midnight CST. If you have not join the giveaway yet, please feel free to join now!

OK, now onto the haul.
First I went to American Eagle. I got a really cute tote. It has little fur design on it. It's navy blue. I think it's super cute and great for school.

Next, I went to J. Crew. I got a simple white striped T-shirt for layering and a light grey top. I think the grey top will work very well for semi-formal presentation or a everyday office look.
Sorry the clothes are kind of wrinkled, because they were stuffed in the bag, of course, haha^0^~

This top buttons all the way up, but I like to wear a tank top inside and layer this over.

Next, got a simple beret from Banana Republic. I am really into hats and head bands this season.

Then, I went to GAP and got a sweater. This was probably my favourite purchase that night. I love the fur design inside the hoodie, It' sreally cute. The cut of the sweater is pretty nice too, just the right length and very cute knit.

I also got a new pair of sunglasses from fossil. I really liked the design. The frame has kind of a shell design, very versitle and this pair does not sit on my cheeks, so it's pretty comfortable (I do have quite flat features, so it's pretty hard for me to buy sunglasses).

Finally, the only makeup product from the CCO. A mac lip kit. All neutral colors, very pretty!

Swatches~

That's all I have from black friday shopping. I am going to the mall today, so who knows what's gonna happen, haha^0^.
Hope you all have a wonderful rest tonight and get ready for work or school tomorrow.
I am going into my final week, so I will be pretty busy with school. I will try to update as often as I can.
Thank you for reading!
Stay pretty and stay tuned!
Love~^0^

Short Reviews: Boscia, Benefit, lip balms+NOTD~

Hello everyone! Happy Monday~ I am sorry for the absence during the weekend. I had a lot of activities to go to and I had two tests today, so...yeah.
I am going to do short reviews again and a quick nail of the day at the end.
OK, first, some skincare items I have been trying.

The boscia anti-oxidante recovery treatment C.

I am almost done with the bottle at the point. I actually quite like it.
Texture: light serum, appears a little sticky when just applied, but doesn't feel like anything after it absorbes.
Packaging: Comes with a pump, pretty sanitary.
Scent: light plant extract scent, no heacy fragrance
Function: Contains vitamin C, parsley and jojoba leaf extract. It also contains willowherd, which is a anti-ittitant ingredient. It suppose to prevent and repair signs of aginga dn revives skin damaged by free radicals. I do think this is pretty effective in calming my skin. It is also a very effective anti-oxidating treatment, because I do notice that my skin stays bright for a longer time after I cleansed my face. So I would say this is a pretty effective product.
However, this is not a moisturizing treatment, I would highly recomment to use a moisturizer on top of this serum.

Another boscia product I tried was the Boscia Vital Daily Moisture Cream with SPF15.
Packaging: The one thing I like the most about this product is the packaging. Comes with a pump and a tube, great for travel and easy to control the amount you take each time.
Texture: light gel cream, very smooth and easy to absorbe
Scent: no heavy frangrance either, natural extract smell
Function: This daily moisturizer contains olive fruit oil, rice bran oil to mositurize your skin. It also comtains willoherb, whin yeast aand marince complex, which combat against environmental damage. It says that it serves as a moisturizer and a makeup base.
I use a primer daily anyway, but I would say that this will be a good makeup base, because it is really smooth and very light. Although it contains essential oils, but it's not oily at all, it feels very nice and light, which is one thing I really like about this product. However, I think this is not moisturizing enough for my super dry skin during the winter, so I use my Vitacreme B12 under it to provide mores moisture. But I think this will be pretty ideal for people wiht normal/combination skin. However, I don't think it's a mirical worker in any sense, and I think some drugstore moisturizer, like the Eucerin Everyday Protection cream does just as good of a job as the boscia one. So the boscia one is good, but I don't think it's amazing in any sense.

Now, onto makeup. I got the Benefit Girl Meets Pearl primer a week or so ago, and I have been wearing this EVERYDAY whenever I wear makeup. I LOVE LOVE LOVE...this primer. It's probably the best primer I have ever tried. I think this is very comparable to my HG primer, which was the MUFE HD primer in mauve. But I like the texture and the glow of the benefit primer better. Both primer make my makeup last all day, up to 10-12 hrs without any touch-up or blotting, but the benefit one just has the prettiest glow ever, which is something I am really really into all the time---the celebrity glow.^0^
Aside from that, this primer is very light in texture and pretty moisturizing too, which is another big plus. The packaging of benefit, of couse, is super cute too. I am just in love with this primer, and I highly highly highly recommend it to anyone who likes glowy makeup base.^0^

Finally, some more lipbalms, haha, can't miss the lip balms once in a while, right? BTW, if you guys don't know. I aim at trying 100 lip balms during my life time, haha ^0^~
First, the famous EOS lip balm I got from walgreens a month ago. I think the flavor was honeydew or something like that.

The packaging is of course really cute, but this is probably one of the worst lip balms I have tried, haha^0^, no offense to the EOS lovers, but this really didn't work for me.
It's not moisturizing at all and it feels like pure wax on my lips. So it's really disappointing, I think. Obviously, if you are really into the packaging, then you can give it a try, but I don't think it does anything to the lips and I would not recommend it.

Next, the Vaseline lip therapy I got also a month ago from walmart.

I love this lip balm. It's in a tube form, it feels really light, kind of like a gel texture, very light weight but moisturizing. However, I wouldn't recommend it overnight, because it's not THAT long lasting, but it's great to take with you all the time as a daily lip balm. It's also really cheap and affordable^0^~

Finally the Jose Maran Lip balm. I am already in LOVE with this lip balm.

The packaging is of coure, really cute and creative. It smells like fruit candy, very sweet and nice smell. It feels soooo smooth and moisturizing on the lips and I can notice my lip lines being less obvious when I have this on, my lips are more plumped as well.
It contains argan oil, which is a great source of antioxidants, vitamin E and essential fatty acids that norishes your lips.
The only down side of this lip balm is that you can only wear it alone or under lip glosses. I found that if I use this lip balm under any lipsticks, the lipsticks become really really sheer and the color cannot go on easily, so I don't think this will work as a lipstick base. However, it works wonderfully alone or under lip gloss.

OK, lastly, finish with the nail of the day. A deep red color, great for the holiday season. This one is called Mr. Right Now from Sephora by OPI.

That's it for today. I am sorry for no tutorials this weekend, we has a water issue here in New Orleans and I couldn't shower, haha. I will definitely do one during thanksgiving.
Thank you for reading and have a wonderful week.
Stay pretty and stay tuned!
Love~^0^

Sephora VIB Event+ MAC haul~~

Hello everyone! Happy friday and haul time again, haha^0^! Sephora must loves me because I have been shopping there like crazy.
By the way, I am going to watch the new Harry Porter movie tonight, which I am really excited about, it is supposed to be really good^0^.
Anyway, I went to the VIB event last week and I picked up a few things from the store. So here they are~

First, a new lipbalm!!^0^ Can't have enough lip balms righ, haha^0^. I got the Jose Maran lip treatment. I heard fuz raving about this, si I decided to pick it up. The packaging is super cute and the product smells amazing!

Next, since i ran out of my shiseido white lucent eye cream, I picked up the L'occitane Immortelle eye balm. The texture of this eye cream is pretty light, kind of kind a gel cream.

Next, something I am so so so excited about---the Benefit Girl Meets Pearl makeup primer. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this primer. I tried it in store and I absolutely totally falled for it. It gives you the best glow EVER, it's definitely one of the best glowy primer I have ever tried. I will do a full review on this coming soon, but I like this a LOT better than the MAC strobe cream.

The bottle design is really cute!<3 href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_rEdm6onBNL4/TOcSXxhrT8I/AAAAAAAAC0Y/HZLrBxTF6hU/s1600/DSC00721.JPG">

Super natural pinky pearl glow=LOVE LOVE LOVE!!^0^

I got a sample of the Tarina Tarintino pearl glow primer. I am not sure why it's called pearl "glow", because it's not really glowy, but anyway, I will try it out and let you know^0^~

Finally, something really exciting too---my first EVER urban decay palette!^0^ This is the Urban Decay Ammo palette. I am going to get the NAKED palette, however, I just can't wait till it's in stock so I just picked up this one. I actually think this palette has really nice color combinations. It's good for a natural or a colorful holiday look. With that being said, you can expect a holiday look using this palette coming soon!^0^

This palette is CRAZILY pigmented. It's probably the most pigmented palette I have EVER tried in my makeup life, haha^0^. I like how pigmented it is, but it also means that if you are not very skilled at makeup, the colors will be kind of hard to control.

I also went to MAC and picked up 2 liners, they are the pearlglide liners in Permaplum and Petroblue. I love the colors, I think I am gonna get "lord it up" too.

Sorry for no swatches now, I will swatch these when I do reviews on them.

And that's it for my haul. I will have more hauls coming up soon. But before that, I am going to figure out a tutorial this weekend.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and enjoy your holiday shopping^0^!
Thanks for readin!
Stay pretty and stay tuned!

My current hair care routine and reviews~

Hello everyone! I am doing a hair routine today, and since i tried a lot of new hair products recently, I am going to do reviews for the new products as well^0^!
This was requested by some of my followers, so I hope you all like it!.
First, a picture of me and my hair, haha^0^~

OK, onto my hair routine. Before, I did not really care about what hair products I use. I have never color treated my hair, and I have only had my hair permed twice in my life! Once in 7th grade, and once 2 yrs ago. I do really care about the quality of my hair, so I don't like to do much with it. I didn't even use blow dryers when I was in China. I started blow drying my hair in 12th grade, because I don't have time to wait for it to air dry anymore.

I used to use all drugstore hair products. My favourite line of shampoo and conditioner from the drugstore is the Panteen Pro-V Balancing Moisture shampoo and conditioner.
These products smell really nice. The shampoo cleans pretty well and does not weigh my hair down, and the price is very reasonable.

I also use the conditioner from the same line. Really lightweight, but I think this will only suit normal to oily hair (which I have), but when my hair is very dry, like during the winter time, it does not really give my hair enough moisture.

I do have oily scalp, so I use a deep cleanser when I wash my hair (which is every other day), I wash my hair with a deep cleanser once, and then with a regular cleanser again, then I use conditioner.
A drugstore deep cleanser I have is the Garnier Anti-Dandruff shampoo. But I don't find it work very well, and it weighs my hair down, so I definitely do NOT recommend this shampoo.

Since I started blow drying my hair, my hair is more subject to damange, so I thought I would start using better hair care products.
I switched my shampoo into the fekkai full blown volumn shampoo and the Fekkai Apple Cider clarifying shampoo.
The full blown volumn shampoo is amazing, it really cleans my scalp and makes my hair less oily. It also really adds volumn to my hair. I found that my hair is not as lumpy as before. It also has a very gentle plant extract scent, which is really soothing. I also personally really like the packaging, except I wish the cap is not so hard to press, haha^0^. But I highly highly recommend this shampoo, and I think it will pretty much work on anybody.

For deep cleasing, I use the apply cider shampoo. This shampoo is kind of interesting, because it does not really foam up very well. I always think I did not take enought product, but it actually just does not foam up very well. But it does cleanse my hair very well. When I use this shampoo with the full blown volum shampoo, my hair stays really fresh until the evening of the second day, which is amazing to me, because I do have really oily hair, especially around the scalp. However, this did not surprise me in its results, so I don't think I am gonna repurchase it. But I do think it is a decent product.

Conditioner wise, I still use the same one, because I ordered a new one online and it has not came in yet, but I am just trying to finish up the Panteen one before I switch to a new one.

I actually start using hair products now!^0^
First, a heat protectant is a must! Especially if you blow dry your hair or if you use hot tools very often. I like the tresemme heat protectant spray; it is cheap; it does not smell bad or very strong; it works pretty well.

I tried the fekkai full blown volumn hairspray. Truth to say, this is a pretty crapy product, haha^0^. It is expensive, and it does not really work. You might as well just buy another one of those awesome full blown volumn shampoos.
It smell nice. When you spray it one, it kind of has that cool feeling, but it does not lift my roots to any extent and I would NOT recomment this spray.

Last thing I use is the fekkai glossing cream, I only use it on the lower 1/2 of my hair targeting the roots to add some shine. You only need a pea size each time^0^.
I did a review on this product already, you can check it out here.

That's all I do for my hair! Really not much at all. I am actually seeking a good hair serum at this point, so if you have any recommendations, please feel free to leave a commen below and let me know!^0^

Thank you for reading and have a wonderful rest of the week!
Stay pretty and stay tuned!

The Perfect Imperfection Tag!

Hello everyone! Hope you are having a wonderful weekend so far. I went to a friend's house and had some hotpot last night^0^, it was amazing, haha, I love hotpot.
Today I am going to do the Perfect Imperfection tag. I saw this tag going around youtube, but I just think it's a very fun and unique tag. So I decided to do one on my blog^0^!
I would like to tag all of you to do this if you want!^0^

We all know that no one is absolutely perfect, and I think the imperfections we have is what make us different and unique.
I always think I am pretty lucky person, because I was born in a nice and loving family. Not only do I have really nice parents, I also have great grandparents, cousins and so on. So although I am a single child, I still feel the love from my other family members. I am also really thankful for having a healthy body and happy personality. Those are all great gifts from God that I have already.

I don't think of imperfections as a bad thing; I would rather think of it as a personal marker^0^, some kind of "imprint" on each of us.
I think my physical imperfections is that I have pretty big legs, haha^0^. When I was little, I feel really self-conscious when I wear skirts or shorts, because I think people will think that I have really big legs. I always dream to become one of those japanese cartoon character, haha^0^. Now I still think I do, but I don't really care that much anymore.

Personality wise, I think I can become really impatient sometimes. When I am in a hurry or when I need to get things done, I can get really nervous and impatient, especially when I am in the airport and the flight got delayed, haha^0^, it always make me really upset.

Finally, I admit that I do shop a LOT, haha^0^, especially when it comes to beauty products. I am still in college, so I am not suppose to live this kind of life yet, and I am fully aware of that, haha^0^. I guess this will be the first imperfection which I get to improve on, but it will be the hardest, I think...

But yeah, this is my sharing today. I definitely don't think imperfection is necessarily bad. But if you know that it is a bad habit or a bad thing to do, then by writing it down or thinking it thought, you can correct it over a period of time. So don't be afraid to face your imperfections and remember, some imperfections, are PERFECT imperfections^0^.

OK, before I get any more cheesy and emotional, I am going to end it here.
Thank you so much for reading. Some readers did request me to share something more personal, so I think this will be a good post to fulfill that request.^0^
Stay pretty and stay tuned!
Love U all~^0^

Sephora F&F haul~ Part 2

Hello everyone! I am finally here for the second part of my sephora F&F haul. Yes, I did go to the VIB event yesterday and got more things, but I am gonna show those to you guys later. These are things I got in the mail a week or so ago. Reviews are coming soon!^0^
OK, now onto the haul.
I got mostly necessities, mostly, haha^0^.

First, I want to talk about the Cake Beauty You Deserve It set. I was just gonna get the handcream, but it was sold out, so I just got this set instead. And I am really glad that I did, because the foot cream is just as good. These creams smell AMAZING, seriously like cake. But if you don't like sweet scents, these are probably not for you. The foot cream has a minty scent too, which is kind of cool.
BTW, Cake beaudy is having a sale on cakebeauty.com, you can get 50% off your entire order! Go try these awesome products!^0^ (Coupon code: sweetdeal)

Next, another hair product! I got the Fekkai Apple Cider Clarifing shampoo. I do have oily hair and I think this has been helping a lot in terms of controling the oiliness of my hair. But I don't think it smells like apple cider though, the scent is quite refreshing, but not exactly apply cider, I would say.

Then I have 2 makeup items.
First is the too faced shadow insurance. I have heard so much about this product that I just decided to try it out. I did try a sample od UDPP, but I didn't like that one that much, so I got the too faced one. So far, it's doing pretty good! It's cheaper too, compare to my Bare Escentual one, which I loved~

Then I got a non-essential item, but I thought it was really pretty. It's the new Sephora Ultra shine gloss in #14 natural look shiny. It's a cute pale peach color with no shimmers. These glosses are amazing in quality. They are really smooth, not sticky at all, the applicator is easy to use and the shine is really pretty. Ans for $14, you get quite a large amount, so pretty nice!

Now, onto the skincare items. I am kind of crazy about trying skincare products these days, although I have tons of skincare already, haha^0^.First, I got the SKYN Redness Relief Kit. It comes with a redness relief serum and a lotion. I always always always have redness on my cheeks, because I have SUPER sensitive skin, so even I try to be really really gentle with my skin already, I stil have redness on my cheeks. So when I saw this kit, I was really interested in trying it out. I am currently trying out a lot of other skincare products already, so I am not trying this set yet, but when I do, I will do a review on this for sure.

Then I got the Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin cream. Yu-Be is a Japanese medicated skincare brand. This brand was founded in 1957 and only carries 4 products to this day. But the Yu-be cream is the best selling medicated skin care cream in Japan. Since I have really really dry skin in the winter time. I thought I'd give it a try.

Point perk is the Fresh soy face set, something I have always wanted to try.

A skincare reward! DDF protect and correct day cream.

That's all I got from F&F sale. I hope you enjoyed the haul. More reviews and tutorials will come soon~Don't forget to join my giveaway if you haven't already by clicking here.
Thanks for reading and have a wonderful weekend!
Stay pretty and stay tuned!
Love U all~^0^
