Drugstore and Duri nail polish Haul+FOTD

Hello everyone! Sorry for the late update. I have been really busy this weekend and also this week. I still have a test tomorrow that I need to study, but I think I should at least do a update for you all. I am sorry I couldn't do a tutorial, because it was raining all weekend and I can never figure out the right lighting, but I took a few pictures of the look I did, although the lighting was pretty bad, haha^0^. It is a cat-eye look, great for a night out or even to wear during the day. If you want to see a tutorial on this look, please comment below to let me know, if not I will just think of something else as my next tutorial.
Here is the look:

Please let me know if you want to see the full tutorial or if you want to know any of the products I used.^0^

ok, now onto the haul.
I pinked out a few things from the drugstore, and here they are!

First, I pinked up a few items from the brand "Eucerin". I was trying to search for something really simple since I have been getting quite a lot of allergy reactions to products. I really like their formula. All the products are frageance free, non-comedogenic, and formulated especially for sensitive skin. The ingredients are just the same as the "base" of a lot of high-end moisturizers.
I got the facial moisturizer with SPF 30, which is a great day time moisturizer, I still use sunscreen above this, but if you are somepne who donot like using sunscreem at all, this is a great moisturizer, becuase it does not feel greasy at all, and it is really moisturizing.

I also got their handcream, this handcream has AHA in it, which will make your hands more vulnerable to the sun, so makesure you use a sunscreen for your hands also after applying this handcream. (I don't bring this with me to touch up, I just use it once in the morning and then before bed.)

Last product from Eucerine is their body lotion. I got the one for sensitive skin. I really like the texture of this lotion, it is relaly smooth and the bottle comes with 400ml of product for only $7.67, it is pretty amazing.

Then I picked up another high-definition brush, this is a angled blush brush. I love these brushes, they are sooo soft and comfortable, but they are soooo cheap. I also have a powder brush and I am thinking about stocking up on these now^0^. Love them!~

Then I got two lipsticks. First one is from Mabelline, it is another color sensational lipsticks in 055 Pinkalicious. It is a beautiful pop pink color, it appears almost reddish on me. If you are someone like me who cannot pull off bold red yet, this is a great choice for a little bit of that intense color, but not too overwhelming. (I promise I will really do a tutorial with this lipstick this week, for sure!^0^)

Then I also got a lipstick from Rimmel London. It is the Rimmel moisture renew lipstick in 140 dreamy.

I think this is a pretty close dupe for the Lancome color design lipstick in "it girl", which I LOVE! Although they look different on my hand, but they look really similar in the tube, and even more similar on my lips. (Sorry for no lip swatches this time, the lighting was just not right)

Last but not the least, I got a few nail polishes from Duri Cosmetics, they are a professional cometics company for salons. You can get their nail polishes at http://www.duricosmetics.com/. They have free shipping over $10 and they ship pretty fast. I have not tried their nail polishes yet, but I will do reviews on them later.
FTC: I bought everything myself and I am not getting paid for mentioning them here.

#455 Milk and Honey: a light champaign/beige color with no shimmers.

#453 Hot Ice: This is my favourite color out of all the colors I got, I really want a pale baby blue color nail polish. I am also looking for a mint green color, if you have any good suggestions, please let me know^0^!

#079 Lavender Lush Cream: A pale barbir pink color with no shimmers

#025 Victoria: A neutral rose color with no shimmers

#417 Lovely in Lace, a beauiful nude color with no shimmer.

#429 Firefly, a bold hot red color with golden satin finish.

This is what the brush looks like, it is pretty small, which is good for my small nails. Hopefully I won't mess up with these polishes.

OK, that is the end of today. I really need to go back to study. I am sorry if the post is kind of boring today, haha, I am just trying to finish this ASAP.
Thank you all soooo much for reading and supporting!
Stay pretty and stay tuned!
Love U all~^0^

Lush review + NOTD

Hello everyone! Happy friday!! I am sorry I have been abscent this week. I was really busy with starting school and keeping up with everything. I hope you all had a wonderful week, mine was good, but pretty intense, haha^0^!
Today I am going to review 2 lush products I have been trying lately. I normally finish one before I start on another one, so that is the reason why these reviews come really slow^0^, ok, let's get started!
First I have finished a bar of soap called "sexy peel".

This soap has my favourite scent, it is citric and really refreshing. It also has lemon/orange skin in it, which can help gently "peel"/exfoliate your skin. It is not as moisturizing as the "honey I wash my kids" soap, but the scent is amazing, and it lasted longer, probably becuase it is not as creamy, haha^0^. The only complain I have is that it kind of leaves my skin feeling pretty dry after shower. I have to use a body butter after I use this soap or my skin is really going to "peel", haha^0^. Overall, I rate it 3/5.

The other product is also a soap. It is the famous "rock star" soap.

This soap has a bubble gum pink color (as you can see) and it smells like bubble gum also, it is a scent that will make me happy^0^! It is a little more creamy than sexy peel, but still not as moisturizing as honey I wash my kids. Overall, it is an average product, I rate it 3.5/5.

Last but not the least, I am going to show you a nail combination I have been really loving recently. It is a peach+pink combination.
After OPI base coat, I used one coat of "coney island cotten candy" by OPI, and then I layered it by the face shop nail polish in PK 103 (this was a gift from ningstar's giveaway, thank you songling!^0^) Then I finish with the OPI top coat.

It gives you that peachy pink innocent color with just a tiny bit of shine (since the pink color has a tiny tiny bit of pearl shine to it). I think this suits a lot of outfits and the color is just really natural, which is great for school or work.

ok, that's it for today. I am going to do a lip balm show down this weekend and maybe a tutorial, so...
Stay pretty and stay tuned!
Love U all~^0^

Collective Haul Part 2:Fashion+Back to school look

Hello everyone! Today is my first day of school, and I had 8:00 a.m. class, I know, I am never a morning person and I can't believe that I am doing this. But it went pretty well, and I am excited to show you guys the seconf part of my haul and a very quick back to school look, this is actually what I wore to school today.
Now, let's get started.
The city I live in is still really hot right now, but in the classrooms, the AC is sooooo strong that I am freezing in class, so I got some cardigans to take with me to classes so that I can actually focus instead of being really really cold.
The first one I got was from Brooks Brothers. It is more of a subtle work/school friendly one. I think I can wear this even to presentations for some of my business classes so I am not shaking when I am talking.

I also got a casual one from F21. I think the deign is sooo cute and very unique. I am really into the whole Asian cute cartoon trend recently, haha^0^

Look at the back, isn't that so cool??^0^

Then I got a pair of flip flops for the school year because my old one was really really worned out. I really like white shoes for the summer, and for any season really, they pretty much go well with any outfit. I think the detailing on this pair is really cool too. They are from BASS and they are SUPER comfortable!!

Last item is a piece of jewery I got from F21, both me and my cousin got this and is is a SHOE neclace, and it has black rine stones in the front too. I think this will be really cute to go with a T-shirt.

OK, that is it, really not much, right? Now onto my back to school look. I know there are plently of back to school tutorials out there and I am not even going to think about creating a very unique. For me, I like to go with really simple makeup for back to school. I am always out of time, so I don't do a ton. This was the look I did this morning, and in order to take pictures and everythings, I got up at 6:00a.m., so I admit that I was not very awake, so please bear with me.^0^
OK, again, straight to the eye makeup.
I used long lasting products. First I primed my lids with the MAC paint pot in "Bare Studies".

Then I cured my lashes and applied the lash serum. I wait for it to dry while I did my brow, blush and eye/nose contouring.

Then I tight lined and lined the lower outer 1/3 of the lower lash line and applied the P&J eye gloss #5 on the lids within the fold.

Then I applied mascara and used the brown color in my Coffert D'or SA eyes 01 palette to go ver the outer 1/2 of my lower lash line to make it less intense.

That completes the super simple eye look!

Base and cheek makeup used! I am in LOVE with the P&J foundaTion!!! It is seriously AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!^0^

Lip combo, simple but great!^0^ Haha, I think!

Here is the look, I hope you all enjoyed it!^0^

Thanks for reading!!

Collective Haul Part 1: HUGE makeup haul

Hello everyone! I am back at my school and I am starting class Monday. Move-in has been really exausting, but I just want to do a update for you all. This are some things I got right before I left California and I am going to break it up into two parts, Part 1 is makeup and Part 2 is fashion.
I hope you enjoy the haul and let's get started!
The first thing I got is a perfume, yes, a perfume. As much as I am not a perfume person, I really want to have it because the packaging is just soooo adorable. I got the Harajuku Lovers Perfume in "Baby".

I love the description, it is describe as the youngest member of the family. Yeah, I am the youngest both on my mom's and my dad's side.^0^

The smell is a bit too "fragrancy" for me, but it just makes me happy to look at it.

The next thing I got are 2 nail polishes from essie. They are my first essie polishes, so I will try them out and see how they work.^0^ I am still into the whole pastel thing, so I got a peacy pink color in "710 van d'go" and a lilac color (really similar to the famous lilacism) in "706 neo whimsica".

I really like how the brush is not very big, because I have small nails, so I think these brushes will be easier to work with.

Next, I got 2 items from Lancome's DF&CCO again.
First I got the Photogenic Skin Illuminating concealer with SPF15 in "Light buff". This is discontinued, so you can only get it in the DF&CCO stores. But this concealer is super smooth and creamy. This works amazingly on blemishes and also under my eyes. However, I prefer the Laura Mercier #2 for undereye because it has a peacy undertone and it really brightens my undereye area.Although, the Lancome one actually feels smoother.

This fits my skintone very well.

I also got a lipstick. This is the Lancome Color Design lipsticks in "It girl". I really like the name, and after one swatch, I felled entirely for it. It is a beautiful Rosy pink color with a golden/peachy undertone. It is super smooth and non-drying and it is super super super pretty!

I LOVE the color, it has the prettiest and most unique shimmer, it is not turely gold, but it is not entirely peach either.

OK, on to the Paul & Joe stuff. I also got 2 items. I got them from beautyhabit.com. They messed up my order the first time, but their service is great, right after I emailed them, the package came in less than 2 days. They always give out a sweet packet of free samples and a thank-you note and they are really responsive to requests, great service!
First I got the P&J protective Fluid Foundation. I tried it on yesterday and it was AMAZING!!!!(A tutorial will come soon using this foundation) It is ultra smooth and hydrating, the design of the bottle is great, the bottle is plastic so it is travel friendly and the foundation just feels like a tinted moisturizer. The coverage is sheer to medium, which is enough for me, but this is really the best liquid foundation I have tried so far. I like it even more than my BB cream and Hourglass TM now(I know, I change my mind too fast, but this feels like a dream on my skin).

Also, I finally got my hands on the Paul&Joe Fall 2010 LE lipstickes. I got the color #67 in "over the moon". It is a preacy pink color. I just found out that this is really similar to 2 lipsticks that I already have. One is the P&J lipstick N #19 and the other one is Beautymaker Aquasmooth lipstick in "Peach". They are really really similar colors. I guess I need to be really careful with not purchasing same colors anymore, haha^0^.

The packaging is adorable!

Comparison swatches: see how they are really really similar?

OK, now onto the Rock & Republic stuff. I got everything from hautelook.com. They were having a sale back in july and I just had them ship to my school so I just got it yesterday.
I got three blushes: spank, call me, and lust, and a lipgloss is "mistress". The packaging for Rock & Republic stuff is great, they looks really nice and sleek. I especially like how the blushes come in those round boxes.

Spank is a beautyful matt candy pink color. These blushes are really really really pigmented, once it goes on, it sticks to your skin like sharpies, so really remember to use a light hand when you use them.

Call me is a peachy color with golden shimmers, a lot of people compare this to NARS orgasim, but I think the nars one is a little bit brighter than call me.

Lust is a coraly rose color with golden shimmers. It is the best color for fall, I think and it also a really elegant color.

Swatches: spank, call me, lush (this is two swipes, so the colors are really intense)

The lipgloss I got magically matches the Lust blush, I think. It is the R&R LUXE lipgloss in "mistress". It is a dark rose color with a golden purple undertone. Since it is really really pigmented like the blushes, it almost appear red on me, but a rosy, plumish wine red.(kind of,haha^0^)

Lip swatches!

OK, now onto the drugstore stuff. (I know, this is getting long)
First I got the L'oreal Lash serum. This was raved my Kevin on the Queen show "twice", and that just made me really interested in it, so I got to give it a try now. You are suppose to apply it twice a day, once before bad, and once before you mascara in the morning. I haven't see any result yet and I have been using this for 2 days, so I will do a review on it later. Good thing is that it did not irritate my sensitive eyes.^0^

Then I got the Mabelline Great Lash mascara. (I got two of them is a pack") I want to start trying out drugstore mascaras, because I am trying to cut down on my spending. I am pleasantly suprisingly loving this mascara so far. The brush is smaller than most mascaras which make the application a lot easier for my short lashes. It is pretty volumizign and lengthening and it does not clump. I got the waterproof formular, it holds curls pretty well. It is also a allure winner of mascara (if that makes anything different, haha^0^)

I also got a brush set from Ecotools. These brushes are AMAZING, they are soooo soft and they don't shed. I would say they feel just as good as my sephora brushes, but they are a LOT cheaper.

Last thing, really the last thing I got is the L'oreal HIP jelly balm in 230 Ripe. It is a bright peachy coral color and it is beautiful! I also really like the smell, it is kind of like vanilla. The pigmentation of these jelly balms are better than those tube glosses, but they are super moisturizing and nonsticky. I love it a lot. I would still recommend using a lipbalm under it, just because I always do^0^.

This is indoor lighting, sorry it was dark outside when I took these pictures.

OK, that completes the makeup part of my haul, please look for the fashion part coming soon~^0^
Thanks for reading!
Stay pretty and stay tuned!
Love U all~^0^
