Mini Sephora and mask haul + LOTD!

Hello everyone! Long time no see again!! I am glad that I am finally back to blogging. I am now in San Jose, CA for the rest of my summer break and I am really excited to tour arounf CA this summer!^0^
I got back from NYC this monday and had to finish working with the office and travel here, so I miss you all a lot!!^0^
Here is a mini sephora haul I got from NYC and today I went to 99 Ranch Market in CA and "My Beauty Diary" masks were on sale there, so I got two boxes of mask and they gave me two 2 pcs boxes for free along with a free mask as a gift. It is only $24.99 for 2 boxes, which is a GREAT deal!^0^ So here we go!
I only got 3 things from sephora! I finally got around to try out the aqua creams, I got number 2 and number 5. Then I got the Dior Ultra Shine lip gloss in $436 Arpicot Cloche to match the cheek color (Aqua cream #5).


The colors are soooo pretty!! I like how it is water proof also! It is great for summer time and I think I am definitely getting more, haha^0^!

Here are the masks I got from 99 Ranch Market. If you live around the San Francisco area and you can find a 99 Ranch market near you, I would definitely recomment checking out these masks.

I am really excited to try out the apple masks and the Lavender ones because it is suppose to calm sensitive skin (I have REALLY REALLY sensitive skin). Also, I have only tried the black pearl masks before, and I really want to see how the white pearl ones work.^0^

I will do reviews on these masks after I try them out!

I like the color a lot, I just put the Dior lipgloss over the aqua cream. It matches perfectly and make my lips super glossy and plumping. This is probably my favourite lip combo so far!^0^

Back from NYC trip!

Hello everyone! Long time no see!!! I miss you all so much. I went to NYC this past weekend and I am going to Georgetown tomorrow and San Francisco Thursday. So, yeah, the schedule is pretty tight but I want to take the time to write to you guys and keep you posted. I will do a haul post with pictures from the trip after I come back from Georgetown.

Review: BRTC BB cream vs. Hourglass TM

Hello everyone! I hope you all have been enjoying your week so far! I have an exciting news to share with you all! I am going to NYC this weekend!^0^ I am really excited, because I have never been to NYC before and I think it will be a great experience. The bad thing is that I cannot attend Fuz's meet up. Sorry Fuz!(对不起！>_<) However, I will have more hauls coming soon!^0^ Today I am going to review two base makeup products I have been trying recently. A lot of my friends ask me if BB cream is better or Tinted Moisturizer is better. I think tinted moisturizer is similar to a western form of BB cream. However, BB creams have developed so much that it contains more functions than tinted moisturizer. In another words, tinted moisturizer is a light weight form of a moisturizing foundation, while BB cream is a multi function base. (I am not making sense, am I? Haha^0^, well, you get the point!) The advantage of TM is that they normally come in a wider range of colors than BB cream, which normally comes with only one, or at most 2 colors. OK, on to the review. The L'egere Multi BB cream was the first BB cream I have ever tried and it amazed me so much and I loved it a lot! I thought there will never be a BB cream that is better, but I actually found one: The BRTC Jasmine Water BB cream. I love the texture, it is super easy to blend, super light weight (I think it is even lighter than the L'egere one), super hydrating, super longlasting and the finish is sooooo flawless and natural. I feel that the formular is a little better than the l'egere one because it adheres to my skin better. I still like the L'egere BB cream, but I would say I prefer this BRTC one over the L'egere White Multi BB cream. It also has SPF 30, which is great for people who don't like to wear sunscreen. (I still used sunscreen under this BB cream, but you can skip the sunscreen if you want.)
Texture: super smooth, light cream
Smell: light Jasmine water
Color: suitable to skin that is NC30 or lighter in MAC.
Coverage: light to medium (buildable)
Function: really hydrating and longlasting 5/5!
Price: fair ($25.30 on sasa.com)
Repurchase: Yes, if I don't find better ones. (I like to try out new base makeup, so I probably will move on to new products, but if I need to repurchase a BB cream, I will definitely choose this one as of now. Haha^0^!)

The next thing is the Hourglass Illusion Tinted Moisturizer. It is a oil-free illuminating TM with SPF15. The color for this TM is slightly darker than my skin tone. I got the color Ivory, which was the lightest color in the limited edition set. But now they came out with "shell" as a individual product, which is even lighter. This TM comes in a range of 6 shades, which means most people can find a good match. It contains very fine simmers that gives you that healthy glow. I really like this color for the summer, because it just make my skin look more healthy without looking really oily. I think this is a better option for people who likes glowy look, or want to try out glowy look but are afraid of too much shimmer. This TM is a really high quality one. I like it a lot more than the Laura Mercier one. The texture is just fine, the coverage is about medium, and most importantly, it does NOT break me out, haha^0^!

Texture: light lotion, super smooth
Smell: chemical (this is the only thing I have to complain about this product, the smell is not very pleasing, but after it goes on your face, you don't really smell it anymore.)
Color: 6 choices, a pretty wide range of colors
Coverage: medium to full (buildable)
Function: pretty longlasting and hydrating, but not as hydrating as the BRTC BB cream
Price: expensive $55 for 1 oz.
Repurchase: Yes, if I don't find better ones. (Haha^0^, that is such a useful excuse!)

Lastly, a quick favourite of this month. I have been really loving the TERRA vegetable chips. They are healthier than potato chips and taste a lot better! My favourite kind in the mix is the Taro chips!^0^ Yum, yum...

What's in my purse??

Hello everyone! I hope you have been enjoying your weekend so far. Today I am going to be showing you what is in my purse, basically things I bring with me to work and almost anywhere I go.

This is my purse, it is a hot pink coach purse I got from spring break.


Theses are everything I carry with me. It's actually not much, is it? (haha)


Sunglasses is a mush-have in the summer, I got these from Forever 21, but I am in a hunt of a new pair, haha^0^!


This is my cute key chain, I recently added a change purse to my key chain, I always like to have a lot of stuff on my key chain so I can find my keys really easily!^0^


This is my wallet. I got this as a gift from my friend before I came to the U.S. So I had it for 3 yrs already, but I still liket it. The pattern is really unique and this was a limitted edition one.


Handcream and sunscreen go with me no matter where I go, they are something I can't live without.
I am actually running out of my handcream, any suggestions for a good handcream??


A cute milti-color pen. I got this from china and I just thought it really fits my pink purse and it is just cute and adorable. I also always keep a post-it pad in my purse, but I just ran out yesterday.


Now onto the makeup products!


I love travel size products because I do travel a lot and I like to be able to bring things with me that does not take much space. That is pne of the reasons why I don't like MAC eyeshadows, because they are so hard to carry with!(No offence to MAC fans though, it is just not somthing for me, haha, maybe I'm just weird like that...^0^)


For base makeup, I carry the Shiseido btightening viel with me, I recently changed that to a travel size of the "some kind of gorgeous" from benefit because it is EVEN SMALLER!! Haha, I will do a review on these very soon!


For lips, I carry 2 softlips lip balm, one with SPF, one without. I have to say that the one wiht SPF sucks, haha, it really drys my lips out like crazy. I swith my lipsticks a lot, but the most used ones are the shiseido sample I got, the P&J in #4, the P&J in #16 and the Lunasol G01 shiney coral. (I rarely bring lip glosses to work because I my hairs sticks to it and it is just really annoying.)


My favourite blotting linens!


Maquillage 3D face creator #11, I like the contour color a lot, also it has a huge mirror, which is really nice!^0^


I have a sample size sephora mascara, I actually really don't like it, I switched it to the lancome deficil one now.


Eye drops is really important for peopple who work in the office because your eyes can get really dry during the day by staring at the computer, especially if you wear contact lenses.


I always bring a small moisturizer with me, when I do touch ups, I will blot my face apply a moisturizer and then touch up my base makeup, this will make the base makeup more fresh and less cacky.


Lastly, I also bring a small bag opf Q-tips, cotton pads and a small bottle of eye and lip makup remover, because sometimes my eyeliner will smuge and I just use this little pack to fix it.


I also bring my ipod with me. I like to listen to music when I am in the car or even during lunch. I also bring my phone, I forgot to take a picture of it, but it is just a purple phone. (The very regular version, haha^0^)


Although I don't necessarily wear my watch, I throw it im my purse all the time, just because if my phone runs out of battery, I can still know the time.


Last but not the least, I bring a hair pin and a comb. (I actually never wear the hair pin in the office, because it will be pretty rediculous, but if I am washing my face or doing touch ups, I like to use it to keep my hair out of my face.)

Haul: Intro to Circle Lenses~

Hello everyone! Happy Friday!! Thank you guys so much for your support and I break 60 followers!^0^ Let's get to 100 before my blog birthday, and there will be an awesome giveaway waiting for you all!(Trust me, I am more excited than you are, haha^0^)
If you have been following me from the beginning, you know that I normally don't wear circle lenses. I have really sensitive eyes and my eyes get dried out really fast, even with regular contacts. Therefore, I was really scared to try out circle lenses. But I recently discovered these awesome circle lenses online from "www.tokioshine.com"! They are based in the U.S. so they ship things really fast. Although they kind of messed up my second order, I was pretty satisfied with the purchase.
These lenses are from Dueba. I got 4 pairs, 3 or them (grey, brown and violet) are from the DM serie and the Aqua one was from the MX serie. Tokioshine almost have them in every prescription, which is great cause some websites only have certain prescription available. They are 8.6 in base curve and 14.00mm in diameter, which is the size of the regular Acuve contact lenses I wear.

I actually placed 2 separate orders, the second time was when the lenses were on sale.(All orders come with free contact cases and they are hello kitties'!!^0^)

I will do a comparison review on the two different kinds after I try them out for a little longer. (I want the review to be really thoughtful and helpful.)

This is my first try on circle lenses, and I actually quite like them. I guess you just need to find the lenses you like. If you haven't try them out, I think it's definitely worth a try. What is your favourite circle lenses?? Please let me know below because I'd love to read about your experience!^0^

Review: Neutrogena Suncreens+ LOTD

Hello everyone! I hope this will has been going well with all of you so far. Today I am gonna do a comparison review on the 2 Neutrogena sunscreens I have tried. I think sunscreens are really important, especially in the summer time. It prevents your skin from been damaged by the UV rays, prevents signs of aging and prevents you from sunburn or getting tanned.
I have someone who hates to get tanned. My friends always say that I should live in a cave or dig a whole and live underground, haha, maybe I am a vampire of some sort.(Just kidding!)
OK, on to the review! Both sunscreens are from the Ultra Sheer line. They are both really light and lays invisible under makeup.


The texture if the liquid one is more like a rich lotion and the dry touch one is more like a light cream.


Ultra Sheer Liquid:
Price: $12 for 40ml
Texture: rich lotion, sometimes ball up upon gel
Advantages: lighter in texture, small packaging is travel friendly
Disadvantages: a little bit more oily than the dry touch one; sometimes ball up upon gel or heavy cream; more expensive

Ultra Sheer Dry-touch:
Price: $12 for 88ml
Texture: light cream, super easy to blend; sometimes ball if apply too much upon a heavy cream (that is when I use a TON of it and layer it like no one's business, haha)
Advantages: very very easy to blend, does not feel greasy AT ALL, great for people with combination to oily skin
Disadvantages:can't think of one

Which one would I choose to repurchase??
The Dry touch one for sure! Although I have really dry skin, I have greasy feeling, so although my face is super dry, I do NOT like to use products that are too rich.
But I do like the liquid one, I know fuz likes it also. It really depends on your choice.

Now I want to share a lip combo I have been loving for the summer recently. I am really more of a pink person. I like pink on me batter than peachy or coral colors. I just think they look cuter and makes my skin look more pale, haha^0^!
As you all know, I got the YSL lipstick in No. 7 Rose Lingerie a little while ago, and this is on top of my wish list.
However, I actually think this pink looks a little dead on me. I guess the lipstick is not for everyone. It looks a little too dramatic and pale on me, so I have to layer a gloss over it. I really like the combo with the gloss though. What do you all think？

Sephora Haul~~我又败家了～～

Hello everyone! Long time no see again, haha, I actually have a lot of posts lining up for you all, but I never have the time to actually type them. (Lazy me 被打～）

OK, let's get into the haul. Since I am running out of my shiseido white lucent line, I will be trying out the philosophy "make-up optional" basic skincare for dry and sensitive skin. Obsiously, I can't just end up with that, so I picked out a few more things. Here they are!! (My babies^0^)
我从sephora定了一些东西。我的资生堂white lucent line(sorry， 我不知道这个line的中文怎么说，呵呵）快要用完了，所以我就买了philosophy的保养品来试。这一组是特别为干燥而且敏感的皮肤设计的哦，希望对我会很有效！当然，我也很不自觉的买了一些其他的产品。（被打……）来看看吧！（我的宝贝啊！）


I got the Benefit bestseller set. I actually just really want to try the high beam. Haha, I was gonna put this towards my giveaway prizes, but I haven't try any of them yet and I don't want to give you guys anything bad, so I will try them out and if I like them, maybe I will put it towards the prizes.

I am also really excited to try the Lancome mascara set. I actually like how they are all sample sizes, which is easier to apply and great for travel. Also, it comes with a 1.7oz. makeup remover, which is great！^0^
我也很开心可以试兰蔻的睫毛膏哦，我特别喜欢这种试用品装的，因为很短，所以很好控制也很适合旅行！而且这一组很超值，有一瓶50ml的眼唇卸妆液哦！

This is the mascara base, it suppose to lengthen and volumize your lashes!
这是睫毛打底膏，可以让睫毛加长并且变浓密哦！


This is the brush for the Defincils one. 这款刷头强调的是根根分明的睫毛。


This is the Hypnose one, the best selling, I suppose. My cousin had tried this one and she loved it! 这一款好像是最畅销的哦，我堂姐有用过，说超好用的！


This is the Hypnose drama, suppose to really volumize your lashes, I think this will be great for smoky eyes or stage makup.(I am really excited to try this one) 这一款是超级浓密型睫毛膏，应该很适合画烟熏妆或舞台妆！（我本人很期待这一款哦！）


Now onto the stuff I was actually suppose to buy. I have really dry and sensitive skin, especially around my cheeks. Also, I work in a office so the AC just makes it worse, so I hope this can really help me out.(I will do reviews on this in about 2 weeks).
现在给大家看看我真正需要买的东西吧！我的皮肤超级干而且超敏感的，尤其是双颊的地方。我现在在办公室实习，所以每天都吹空调，美国家里也都是空调，所以整个就干的超级严重。我希望这套philosophy的产品真的能帮我改善这个大难题哦！（过两个礼拜会写心得给大家！^0^)



It also came with 3 packs of exfoliators.I think I am gonna wait until my skin becomes a little less sensitive to try this out. 这套产品还送了三分去角质产品哦，等我不那么敏感的时候再试试!


The texture of the serum is actually really light the not sticky at all!! I love the textube top also! 精华液的质地超级轻盈的，一点都不会很粘！我也很喜欢滴灌式的设计，很卫生！


The cream is not heavy at all, easy to blend and perfect for summer! Kevin actually recommended me to use gel products, but they are just not moisturize enough for me. I might have not picked the right product. 乳霜的质地很轻，没有很厚重的感觉，很容易推开也很适合夏天。凯文老师建议我使用凝胶类的产品，但是我还是觉得它们不够保湿哦，可能是我没有碰到很好的产品吧！


I have actually tried a sample of the eye and lip cream before, I really liked it. 我曾经试过这个眼唇两用霜，上次就很喜欢哦！


Last thing I got is the bonus for Beauty insiders. I got the original fomular of the BE mineral foundation, you can also choose the matte one if you have oily skin. The little brush is adorable!
最后我有拿到会员礼物哦！我选择了最原始的Bare Escentual矿物粉底还有蜜粉。如果你是油性皮肤，还可以选择雾面的。小刷子超可爱的！^0^

That completes my haul. Man, it's so hard to write in both languages, haha! I am going for a mask tonight and I will talk to you all soon!
