Birthday look-using sephora Bday gift set!

Hello everyone, happy weekend! I know it's Sunday again and I am not really looking forward to Monday, but my birthday is coming up thursday of this coming week!! That just gets me a little excited, haha^0^!
Today I have a tutorial for you all. I tried to use the sephora birday gift set to create this look and I tried to keep it as simple as possible so people who do not have a lot of makeup can also do this look using just this set and a little something else.(I know I'm not making sense, but oh well, ^0^!)
P.S.: My lighting was aweful today, it changes a lot, and I am too lazy to edit, so I could look redish in one, and yellowish in another, haha, bear with me please.
Here is the look, keep reading if you like it!(I have been doing a lot of cool tone looks recently since I have gotten some good feedbacks on them^0^, what do you guys think? Am I more of a cool tone person, or sould I go with warm tone colors??)
And, YES, I am finally tring out contact lenses!! These are the Duebe DM21 Grey. I like them a lot!^0^

As usual, let's go straight into eye makeup!
I have already primed my eyes with the BE primer, and then I took the shimmery pearl white color from the sephora set and apply it all over my lid, do not blend it up to your brow bone, it will make the look too exaggerating.

Then take a black liner, tight line your eyes, only line the outer half of the lower lash line.

Now, take the greyish green liner from the sephora gift set and line your uper lash line, drag it out just a tiny little bit.

Then take a dark silver color and apply it on the outer 1/2 of the lid, right above the green liner.(I know, this palette again, haha, I really didn't bring a lot of makeup with me)

Then go back to the pearl white color from the sephora set and pat it on the center (towards the front a little) of your lid to creat that sparkle look. Apply the color on the inner corner and the fronter 1/2 of your lower lash line as well.

Take a whitel eye liner and line the lower water line. This will make your eyes look bigger.

Next, I applied mascara and contoured my nose and highlited my brow bone using the champagne color.

Now we are finished!

Base makeup I used! (The Hourglass Tinted Moisturizer is AMAZING!!!)
I only used one pump, and it is totally enough for the entire face AND neck!

This color matches me perfectly and it gives you a very natural glow without being shimmery at all.

Cheek and contour, same old stuff, haha^0^!

Eye products, sorry I forgot to put the Lunosal palette in it.

Lip products I used.

More pictures and hope you enjoyed the look!

Outfit of the day!! I think stripes are really popular this year, the horizontal stiples has enlarging effect, since my uper body is really small, I chose horizontal stipes. But I have really fat legs, so vertical thin stipe can make me look slimmer.

I really like the detail on the little white jacket.

The bowknots are really cute, a little romantic feeling, I think, haha^0^!

Thanks for reading! Please request looks you want to see in the comment below, I really need some ideas now, haha^0^!
Stay pretty and stay tuned!
Love U all~

Haul~Sephora and drugstore!

Hello everyone! Sorry for the absence this week. Work has been pretty stressful lately since it's getting towards the end of the second quarter. But anyway, I got my sephora "pre-birthday" package 2 days ago and I went to the drug store yesterday and picked out a few stuff, so here is a haul for you all!^0^
First, let's start with the sephora items. I didn't get much cause I was just intended to get my birthday gift so I can do a tutorial this weekend.

Here is my birthday gift, I got it way too early. Although my birthday in on July 1st, I placed the haul last friday, haha, just too excited!I will do a tutorial this weekend with this set.

I also claimed the VIB bonus this month, I was not interested in the necklace last time, but this set does not look bad, the palette is a lot smaller that I expected though, but I guess it's good to travel with.

I got the Hourglass tinted moisturizer and primer set.
The primer is VERY light and super easy to blend! It makes my skin very smooth and silky; it also minimize pores. I have heard great review on this and I will do a review myself later, so stay tuned!

The texture is great!

I also got the Hourglass Illusion Tinted Moisturizer in the color Ivory, it is a perfect match for my skin. The packaging is really nice and suble, I think^0^! The TM has an INSTALIFT technology, which is pretty interesting. It will visibly lift and tighten the skin while the Hyaluronic Filling Sphere help minimize the appearance of wrinkles and increase skin's hydration levels. A full review is coming, but so far this is an AMAZING product! I never repurchase base because I love to try out new base makeup, but this is one that I will seriously consider repurchasing! Really happy with this, haha^0^!

The next thing I got is on my 2010 Most Wanted list. It is the YSL Rouge Volupte lipstick in 07 Rose Lingerie. It is a very cute barbie pink lipstick. It is one of Kevin's (a famous makup artist from Taiwan)favourtie, so I had to get it, haha^0^.
It also has SPF 15, so although the lipstick is super smooth and creamy, it is dry based, I have to say. But the color is gorgeous!

Sorry I only have a yellow light swatch, I forgot about it in the beginning and by the time remember, there's no daylight anymore. I will make it up later.

That's everything I got from sephora, really not much, isn't it.
I also picked up a few things from CVS and Target.
First, more lip balms, haha^0^, I have been really into lip balms lately.
I got these Buit's Bees lip balm to try, it's 100% natural and it contains beeswax, so I think it's pretty interesting.

It smells really good.

I got another set of softlips, haha, I really like the softlips 100% natural line. It also come with the pomegrante lipbalm, but the tinted lip balm witn SPF 15 is in Coral charm, the color actually doesnt look as dark on my lips.

Then I got some more Neutrogena stuff to try.
First, I finally found the anti-wrinkle, anti-blemish cream to try. I have been looking for this forever, I am so happy when I found it in the local CVS. Fuz had raved about this a lot, so I want to give it a try.

Since I am running out of my Ultra Sheer liquid sunscreen, I got another one to try. It is the same line, just this one is "dry touch", it also has SPF 55. I feel like this one is less oily than the liquid one, although the liquid one was not bad at all. It has a light cream texture, not heavy at all and very easy to blend. I will probabaly do a comparison review later.

Well, that is the end of this haul, not much stuff, but I have no idea why this took so long, haha^0^! I am really excited for Friday cause I just really need a break. I will see you all this weekend!
Stay pretty and stay tuned!
Love U all~^0^
