New Watch from Juicy Couture!

Hello, everyone! Yes, more updates! Haha, actually I'm very excited to show this one! So I have not been wearing watch since high school, because I just take my cellphone with me all the time. But recently, I thought since I'm going into business, being on time must be really important (although being pubctual is always important, haha!). Anyway, I decided to invest in a watch. I got this on Hautelook.com. Many of you might have heard of this website already. It has limited time sales on a good variety of brands.
The watch is from Juicy Couture, this is my first Juicy preduct, yeah! I really love this watch. I wanted one that is simple, subtle and pretty. This one fits all categories and I was amazed at how the designer take care of every single detaile on the watch! Even the inside of the belt has pretty designs, isn't it so cute?
Here are some pictures for the "extremely" loved watch! I don't even wan to wear it because I'm afraid I'm gonna ruin it. Haha, I am full of nonsense today!^0^

Finally put it on, haha^0^!

Well, I think I'd better get back to studying for my final exams. I will see you guys soon!
Stay pretty and stay tuned!

Mermaid to order inspired look- CS palettes!

Hello everyone! Haha, I know, I am more delicated recently, because I got into final week and I just do some posts during my study breaks. Due to request, I will do a look with my Costal Scents palettes that I just got. It was inspired by the "Mermaid to Order" nail polish I got from Sephora a while ago. I thing this color is really unique and I just did a inspired look on it. I hope you all enjoy!
P.S.: I did this look when I still have allergy reaction on my face, so this is only a EOTD, I didn't take a picture of the whole face, SORRY!
OK, so the nail polish is a greenish blue marine color. The color is really complicated and kind of in the middle of everything, so I didn't choose andy definitely color, I chose some colors that are also a mix of a lot of colors. Let's get started!
Here is the nail color!

First I primed my eyes. Then I applied the Paul and Joe eye gloss in No. 02. It's a bluish white color. Because I am mainly using matte colors today, so a fine shimmer base will give the eye makeup a bit of shine. Also, the nail color does have some shine to it, so I though it will better fit the nail color.

Next a took light blue color (#6, Row 2 from the color palette). I applied the color on the inner half of the my eyelids.

Then I took a greenish blue color, which is very similar to the color of the nail polish.(#4, Row 5, color palette)Apply that on the outer half of the lids.

Then I added a little bit of the a deep plum color(the middle color on the last row)to the outer V area to give my eyes some more depth. (You can skip this step if you dont' feel it's nevessary)

Now, take a highlight color, I used a light cyan color (#5, 1st row), highlight the middle of your lids to give them more dimension. Line your waterline after that with a pencil liner. Then light your upper lash line with a gel liner.

Then, take a sea blue color(#5, last row), smuge that over the edge of your upper lash line to give it a more natual lining. Take a white liner and hight light the inner corner of your eyes. Then take a pearl highlight color(#4, row 2, warm palette) and highlight your brow bone and over the white liner on the inner corner.

Last step, mascaras! Choose your favourite mascara and you will be finished!
This is one of the few difficult looks that I do, you can skip some steps if you don't feel it is necessary.

That's it for today. I really like this look. I don't do a lot od colorful look, because I am kind of afraid of color, but I definitely like this one a lot so far. Leave your comments below and let me know what you think.
Thanks for reading!

Costal Scents Haul!!

Hey everone! I know I haven't done a haul post for a long time, which is because I controled myself well, haha! But anyway, I got my package from costal scent a few days ago. I have been wanting these things for a long time.
Just to clarify, I still love love love higsh-end stiff, but I just think these palettes give me more choices of colors and I will be able to do more variable looks. I hope you all enjoy the haul!
Here is everything I got!

First, I got 2 of the 88 palettes. The 88 color makeup palette, which is the very original one they have and the 88 warm palette. I really like neutral color, and very natural makeup (I'am sure you all know that), but I also got the color palette, because I believe that the first palette a company come up with, must be something they are really proud of, and I was not disappointed at all. The 88 color palette is really really pretty, I really like the colors, and they have pretty nice shine.
The only downside about these palettes is that the eyeshadows are pretty easy to break off. One of my eye colors from the 88 warm palette has come off already, which is sad!

I also got one of their camo quads, the color correcting quad. It's a color corrector.(Duh...haha) It has 4 colors, the purples is suppose to correct yellowness, the green is to correct redness, the yellow one is to hide black, blue or purple inperfections, and the blue one is to counteract orange tones. I only tried a little bit on my hands, I can't really tell the result yet. I will do a review on this later!

Because costalscents was carring on a brush sale, so I got some of their brushes to try out. I have to say they their brushes are just so-so. Some are really good, like the fluffy, big eyeshadow brush; some are just ok; and some are just really bad. Especially the face brushes from the brush set. I could hardly stand them. They shed a ton and are not soft at all! I think in general, they eye brushes are better than face brushes.

I also got a sample of their miniral eye shadows, in a cute little box. It's a pretty lilac color!

BTW, I am fully recovered from my allergy, yeah!! Aparently, my skin becamse smoother after the dead skin peeled off. Haha, I guess the allergy was not all too bad! I hope you all enjoyed the haul!
Stay pretty and stay tuned!

Mini VS+Sephora Haul!

Hello everyone! I went to the mall yesterday and picked up a few things. I am really broke right now, so I can't really afford to buy everything I want, but anyway.
You all know that I have been really into nail polishes recently, so I got a few nail polishes from sephora.
Frist I got a hot pink nail polish called "Techno Girl". I think this color mathes my new Coach bag perfectly. I love to match my nails with my bag or shoes.

Another one I got was a marine color nail polish called "Mermaid to order". Haha, I wish I am a mermaid. I really like this color, it's kind of hard to discribe. It's like of bluish green with pearl reflect. It's definitely a very complicated color, kind of mystic, like the legend of mermaid.

I also picked up a lip gloss. I have heard good things about he clinique superbalm moisturizing gloss, so I got the color "07 lilac". It's a grape color, with very fine shimmers. I will do a review on this lip gloss after I try it out.

I am never a perfume person. I don't like heavy scents, but I though I'd just pick up a perfume from Victoria Secret because I have a giftcard, haha. I actually quite like this scent, it's the "noir" perfume. I got only a small bottle. I though the packaging is really cute also!

OK, that's it for today. I am getting close to finals, so please wish me good luck on all my exams. I will still keep updating during my study breaks.
BTW, my allery is almost fully recovered, yeah!!
Stay pretty and stay tuned!

Cute Spring glitter nails!

Hello everyone! Since I am still recovering from allergy. I though I'd show you some thoughts on nails. I have never been really crazy about nail polishes, because I am really bad at putting nail polishes on in a even and nice coat, haha^0^! But recently, I have been really into nail polishes, and these are some of my favourie nail colors.
The first on is from the new OPI Sephora nail colloction. It's a really pretty pearl sheen lilac color. I think it's a great color for spring and the shine is very pretty. I only put one coat on because I like how light it is, but you can add another coat on if you want more color. I have been looking for a good creamy lilac color, Stacy recently got a really pretty nail color called "Heaven on earth" (Check out her blog!), I think that is a really pretty color, I definitely have my eyes pn that now!haha^0^

If you don't bother doing some combinations, I'd recomment layering a glitter color on a neutral nail polish (champaign, nude, beige, etc. WITH PEARL SHEEN!) The reason why the neutral color need to have some PEARL SHEEN is that it will shine through the glitter nail color. Because the glitters are not goint to spread evenly on your nails, the pearl sheen will help you even out the shine. This is my favourite combination now. I put on a OPI base coat, the base color I used was Sally Hanson No. 33 Champaign Toast, a very nice color for spring! (This was on of the most recommended colors of spring 2009, and it is still very in style this year!)The glitter nail color is PA nails No. A119. It's a really cute candy pink color with multi-colored shimmers/glitters. French Romantic Style is really popular this season, and I think this is great for all you romantic and cute girls!(Including myself, HAHA!!lol^0^)

OK! That's it for today! I have a lot of exams coming up(something all students hate but all have to do, haha!), but I will still try keeping up with my updates. I definitely will update more often during the summer!)
Stay pretty and stay tuned!

Suffering from allergy!!

Hello everyone! I am sorry I didn't do a lot of update recently. That is because I'm suffering from serious allerfy. My entire face has allergy reaction, it's really red and itchy. I planed on doing a tutorial, but I couldn't even do my regular skincare routine.Basically, I can't put anything on my face right now other than a really soft toner. I am really sorry for the absence and please pray for me to get better soon!Haha, thanks!!
Also, if you know any good products, especially skincare ones that are good to use during allergic reactions. Please let me know by commenting below or talk to me in the cbox!
Tutorials and hauls are coming soon!
I have definitely failed to stay pretty, but I hope you all can still:

How to: Turn a foundation into a BB cream?

Hello, everyone! Today I'm going to show you all a makeup trick. I rarely do this, because I don't have a whole lot of makeup tricks that actually work really well. But this is one of my favourite and I actually think this does work really well.
OK, so a long time ago, a picked up a foundation without noticing that it is for "normal to oily skin". I have dry skin, so the foudation is really dry and very hard to blend on my face. You all know that I love my L'egere BB cream, I noticed that the formula for BB cream contains skincare ingredients. Therefore, I figured out a way to turn a dry foundation into a BB cream!
Notice:
a)After the foundation is turned into BB cream, the coverage DOES reduce, I would say it's better for people who only needs sheer to medium coverage.
b)Check the ingredients for both the foundation and the lotion you use to prevent possible chemical reation that will be harmful to your skin.

OK, So now lets get started.
First, you I applied my L'egere BB cream on my left hand, and blend it out.

Then, I take the dry foundation and a milky lotion (make sure the lotion is really like and milky, more liquidy and blendable). Take about an even amount (you can adjust this according to your preference). Mix them together and apply it on my other hand.

Comparing my two hands, I can hardly notice any difference. They both feel hydrating and light. This picture doesn't really show up well because of the lighting, but they do feel about the same. So if you think your foundation is too dry or too heavy, try it with this method, you might be suprised with the result!

OK, I did a good job keeping this post short today, haha!
Stay pretty and stay tuned!
