Short Reviews

Hello everyone, sorry for the absence. I am now in a little town called Stuttgart, in Arkansas, U.S. Since my uncle is an argricultural scientist, his family lives here so I am here to visit them. There is definitly nothing here, haha. Anyway, I was being a little lazy during the past week since I didn't bring any makeup here(my aunt and uncle don't like makeup, haha). Anyway, I decided to do a little review on a few things I have been trying.
First, the Paul & Joe protective handcream:

It is a pretty good handcream because it has a very nice scent--orange flower. It is the brand scent for Paul & Joe. It smells heavenly good. The packaging is also really cute. The texture is pretty light, kind of milky. When I apply it on my hands, it does make my hands smoother. It is pretty hydrating as well. However, it does not last very long, since it is a light cream. You do have to reapply it once in a while. But in general, I would say it is a pretty good handcream.
Rating: 4/5

The next thing is the Rosebud Salve:

This is seriously the best lip balm I have EVER used. The texture is great, the combination of water and oil in this item is just right. After you apply it, it gives you a really hydrating feeling and it lasts reeeeally long. It is especially good for night treatment. Also, it leaves a nice layer of gel on your lip, but it is not heavy and non-drying. I can't believe this good of a product is only 6 dollars. It is amazing to me. A lot of asian celebrity have recommended this lip balm. It is definitely worth every single penny.
Rating: 5/5 (My love!^0^)

Sorry I can't review any makeup items yet. I will review them as soon as I get back to school. Thanks for reading! Merry early Christmas!

Sephora Haul!!

Hello! My beauty fellows!
I am finally finished with my finals today!!!! I am sooo happy. I went out for some Thai food. If you live around New Orleans area. You should definitely try out Siames Thia cuisine. They have really good curry!
Anyway. Here are some things I got from sephora a few days ago. I also spend my 15 dollar giftcard for beautyinsiders TODAY! Great deals!!

This is the Make Up For Ever HD Primer in Mauve (02). I like it a lot becasue it feels very light and cooling on my face and evens out my skin tone really well.

The Dior Addict High Shine Lipstick 554! It is a hot pink color when you look at it, but when you apply it on your lips, it is a very cute pink. You can apply more layers to make it a more sexier pink too!^0^ It is non shimmery, very nice texture and not very drying either.I really like it so far!

Since Fuz really recomment this, I decided to try this brush. It is the sephora glat blush blush #42. It feels very soft and nice. The size is pretty small, very easy to travel with. It is very easy to control and good for applying any blush. It is the best blush brush I have used so far!

Since I love my Laura Mercier Lipgloss (After Hour) sooo much. I got anothre one in Bellini. It is a coral color with golden shimmers. This color is really cute and the shine is great. I like their packaging too! The texture is pretty smooth and not very sticky. I would say it is a reallu good lipgloss.

The Shiseido cotten pads are also recommeneded from fuzkittie (go check her blog out. She's amazing!) It is really nice and soft. I love how it feels on my skin. I am really sensitive around my eye area, so I really need very gentle cotten pads like these!

I really like this blotting paper. I have used some drugstore blotting paper in China and hated them because they are of absolutely no use. But since fuz recommeneded this (AGAIN!!Haha!!^0^), I decided I am gonna try it. It smells nice, like a mint greentea flavor. It's a very fresh scent.

I don't have a eyelid primer yet so I decided to try one. The bare escentual one is great. I tried it in the store. It feels really nice. However, it doesn't smell as nice but I don't think I will be able to smell my eyes anyway (Haha!^0^) It is a little bit pricy though! I hope it works really well. I will do a review on this after I try it for a while.

These are all the gifts and samples I got from them. I have tried the Dior hydraction serum already and I think it works really well. It feels sooo cool and hydrating after you apply it. I used it at night after toner and it feels really refreshing. I love it so far!

Finally, I got some Godiva Chocolate as my end-of-the-semester gift. I don't normally eat a lot of sweets just because I am always on diet. (HAHAHA!^0^)But I do love Godiva DARK chocolates. This is the dark chocolate cherries! It comes in a tube and I think it is 12 dollars, pretty good price compare to other Godiva products.
Well, enjoy your break everyone!! I ordered some more stuff from Hongkong and Japan and I will be showing them to you after I get back to school because that is when I will see them! ^0^
Love you all~~

Short hair styling

Hello everyone! Hope you are enjoying finals and finishing your work. And most importantly looking forward to Christmas!!
This year, short hair, especially bo-bo hair (at least this is what they are called in chinese) became really popular. And many girls, including myself has cut our hair short. However, short hair has it goods and bads. On of the things that bothers me the most is how to style my hair. For example, it's close to Chiristmas, some girls want to go to a Christmas social or party with a different hair style. But short hair is really hard to handel because there's not lots of varifications. So today I'm gonna show you my way of styling my hair is several different ways.

These are everything I used for my looks. They're all pretty simple but looks nice.

I did makeup today using my new majolica palet and Revlon super lustrous pluming lipgloss 08 (I got this in China). I think this would be a good look for social or more fomal occasion. It gives you a very nice and elegant look. I basically used only bobby pins to pin both sides of my hair up to the back. You can use a big flower or pin at the back to cover up the pins, or you can leave the top layer of your hair behind and pin it at the end to conceal all the pins.

FOR THE REST OF PICTURES. I DID NOT DO MAKEUP BESIDES THE LAURA MERCIER LIP GLOSS. SO SORRY IF IT IS A LITTLE SCARY! HAHA^0^!

Another look for social or formal events. This is a little more complicated. And it is more for people who has side bans. You tie one side up and just pin the hair around it until it is settled like a flower shape. Then I pin the other side up, just try to make is as clean as possible. After you pin the other side up. I pined the back up(You can also leave th etop layer behind and pin it at the end to conceal the pins). Then I picked a flower pin to put on the side with the bob. You can choose any hair ornaments you like.I love flowers!^0^

Now moving on to some casual looks. Good for shopping or hanging out with friends.

This look is really simple. You just tie a layer of your hair up and pin it so it is more puffy. Then add some little pins to it. Again, you can always decorate it your way.You can use a bowknot, a flower pin or something else instead. It is simple and cute!

In this one, I pined my bans to the back. And braid one side of my hair to give it a little bit varification. and used a bobby pin to hold the braid back.

There are still lots of other ways to do short hair. If you have a curler, you can always curl it. You can also use different pins to creat different looks. Anyway, I hope you like the looks and happy holiday!!^0^
(I become less and less humorous now, haha^0^!)

My very Black Friday Haul~~

Since I had no where to go, this is really all what I did----shopping!
I received five packages now! And more is coming! Haha. Here are some pictures and swatches. Up to this point, I would say my favourite purchase is the Smith's Rosebud Salve. It is so moisturizing, long lasting and of a great price.

These are things I got from imomoko.com. They were having a 15% off sale!

Lots of beautymaker stuff. These was recommended by Fuzkittie. (Go check her blog out, she is amazing!!) I only started to try there makeup products, I will try the skincare later. I will do a review after I tried everything and let you know if they are truely good.

My new Majolica pallet (SV887). I love the shimmer and the light silver color. I don't have anything of this color yet, so I am really excited to get it. I have used this alrealy and I liked this coloe so far. You just got to be careful with the darkest color cause it is east to mess up and make you look dirty since it is kind of a greyish silver color.

Two Paul and Joe eye glosses (01 and 04). 01 is the golden shimmer one and 04 is the lavender one. I like the shine and they are very convenient to use.

Samples and products I got from sephora. I love shopping at sephora. I can spent forever in there. However, among these, there are a few thing I want to reture cause they're not as expected.(I retured the suger lip gloss cause I got the wrong color, and the color I got is rather scary to me! Haha.)

The Bare Escentual lip gloss. Sine it was on sale. I decided to try it. It look pretty good. The texture is pretty smooth and the shine is great. The only thing is that the application is a brush instead of sponge.

The Rosebud Salve!!! My favourite purchase u[ to now.^0^ I really love the texture and how light and moisturizing this is. Absolutely amazing, I highly recomment it.

The Laura Mervier lip gloss (After Hour). This color is new and limited edition. I love the color so far. It is really cute and nice.

Beautymaker Aqua Smooth lip color (05 peach). I love the color. It is not shimmery, very cool toned and suttle. It is not as bright as it look. I am pretty satisfied with all my beautymaker stuff so far.

Love PU PU Cheek. I love the pink. It is so fresh and cute. It is also not as bright when you apply it as it looks. It gives you a really cute and awake look. I'll recomment it for people who want to look natual and students for school.

Beautymaker Magic Compacct Duo. I got actually last week. It is truely magic. The color look so natual on me and you can use it both for contouring and highlighting. It is really useful and nice. The shimmer is really small, almost invisible when you apply it. It is really good for natual looks. (I am a really "natual" person, haha!)

I ran out of hand cream really fast because my skin tend to be really dry, especially I wash my hands really often(no swine flu ^0^). I think this is discontinues anywhere else besides imomoko. I am not sure if they have it anymore now, but go check! I love the smell and the texture is great. It is really gentle, moisturizing and fast absorbing. I love the packaging too!! It's so cute!

I hope this helps you to do some holiday shopping. I will do some reviews after I try them. I will have more hauls coming up soon!
Love~~ (By the way, follow me on the left!!!!!!)^0^
